Many of Software & Beyond’s products are returnable. The policy differ for different products. Please see the specific product’s description ( under the "Return/Warranty" section ) for it's particular return and manufacture warranty policy.
Due to the potential for duplication fraud scam, some softwares are non-refundable.
Due to the strict return policy of the manufacturers, the following procedure must be followed carefully. Failure to follow the procedure below will void the customer’s right for return with Software & Beyond.
Procedure:
- Must obtain an Return Authorization Number (RAN).
- Contact return@softwareandbeyond.com for RA number.
- Please be prepared to provide the following information or have it included in your email:
- The full name of the purchaser.
- The email address used to place the order
- The item number.
- A brief product description.
- The reason for returning the product.
- RAN will be issued if product is found to be defective on arrival (DOA). If the product is found to be non-defective, an inspection fee of at least $25, or 15% per unit, will be billed to your account.
- Unused product (see below for “unused product” definition) will be charge a 20% restocking & processing charge.
- Separate RA number is required for each item.
- Upon receiving RA number, items must be shipped back within 14 days.
- Return Authorization numbers are good for fourteen (14) days only. Any products returned after the expiration date will be refused and return to customer. Customer will be charged accordingly for postage.
- The Return Authorization number must appear on the shipping label only, not on or inside the carton. PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON THE CARTON.
- Any carton received without an RA number on the shipping label will be returned to the customer.
- Include one RAN per carton.
- Customers are responsible for freight postages. Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received freight collect, without an RA number, not approved for return or in any way not meeting the above criteria, will be refused.
Policy:
- DOA/defective products are returned for REPLACEMENT ONLY with the same product/model. Deviations from this policy may result in a 20% Returns Processing Service Charge.
- Return Authorization numbers are good for fourteen (14) days only. Any products returned after the expiration date will be refused.
- If the product is found to be non-defective, an inspection fee of at least $25, or 15% per unit, will be billed to your account.
- There must be no markings or writing on manufacturer's packaging.
- Software & Beyond credits based on purchase price or current price, whichever is lowest.
Return Shipping requirements:
- Defective product must be in original factory carton with all original packing materials
- All miscellaneous materials such as manuals, accessories and cables must be included. If any of these materials are missing, your account will be billed accordingly.
- All product, including the manufacturer carton(s), should be packed into an additional shipping carton to help prevent damage while in transit.
- The RA number must appear on the shipping label only, not on or inside the carton. Any carton received without an RA number on the shipping label will be returned to the customer.
- Merchandise must be secured with proper packaging to prevent any damage in transit.
Unused Product Definition:
- Product must be unused.
- Product must be complete and in manufacturer's original packaging, with no visible damage (e.g. rips, tears, compressions, holes or dents).
- All seals and packaging tape of manufacturers' packaging must be unbroken.
- There must be no markings or writing on manufacturer's packaging.
- There must be no stickers, other than the shipping label, on manufacturer's packaging.
Lost Shipments:
In the unfortunate event that one of your orders is lost, an Software and Beyond customer service representative will quickly research your order and replace it, if necessary. Lost shipments must be reported within 30 days of the invoice date.
